How it works
Four steps. One certification.
A clear, transparent path that turns sustainable intentions into a measurable, verifiable result.
- 1
Calculate CO₂ Impact
Tell us about travel (short, medium, and long haul flights), commute, lodging nights, venue square footage, water served, and meals. Our calculator translates each input into pounds of CO₂e using transparent emissions factors.
- Travel, commute, and lodging emissions
- Venue energy and water use
- Meal-based footprint by diet type
- 2
Event Sustainability Assessment
Complete the 60-question Greener Events Toolkit across seven dimensions: leadership, waste, energy, suppliers, engagement, innovation, and ROI. Answer with the Likert scale, we calculate the weighted score.
- Seven dimensions of sustainable practice
- Weighted scoring with category breakdowns
- Live dashboard updates as you answer
- 3
Co-Auditor Feedback
Generate a unique QR code and share it on-site. Attendees, volunteers, and partners answer a short survey based on what they actually observed waste, signage, messaging, and material use.
- On-site QR sign-up for co-auditors
- Photo uploads to support responses
- Co-auditors earn an Eco-Volunteer Certificate
- 4
Proof of Practices
Upload your receipts, photos, signage, and operational logs. Documentation strengthens validation and is reviewed alongside your assessment and co-auditor scores.
- Receipts and supplier documentation
- Photo evidence of waste and energy practices
- Operational logs and sustainability plans
