Four performance levels, earned by your assessment score, designed to honor progress at every stage, from your first sustainable choice to your hundredth.
Foundational · 60 to 74
Foundational sustainability performance. Your event has the essentials in place: a written sustainability commitment, basic waste management, and conscious supplier choices.
Established · 75 to 84
Established sustainability performance. Consistent execution across most sustainability pillars, with clear documentation and attendee-facing communication.
Leading · 85 to 94
Leading sustainability performance. Industry-leading practices verified by co-auditors and supported by documented proof across all seven dimensions.
Best-in-class · 95 to 100
Exceptional sustainability performance. Fully validated, fully documented, and fully transparent, reserved for events setting the global benchmark.
Events scoring below 60 are Not Certified, they do not yet meet the minimum certification requirements, but receive a tailored roadmap to get there.
Fees and enrollment
Every event pays one flat certification fee by attendee count. The assessment then decides which level you earn: Sprout, Sapling, Forest, or Canopy. Paying a higher fee never buys a higher level.
