Co-Auditor Feedback
Invite, validate, and strengthen your event's sustainability results.
What is a Co-Auditor?
A Co-Auditor is a trusted participant (staff, volunteer, partner, or attendee) who provides independent, on-site feedback to help validate sustainability practices during the event.
How the Co-Auditor Process Works
1. Generate a QR Code
Create a unique QR code linked to your Co-Auditor Survey.
Share this QR code on-site with selected participants.
2. Co-Auditor Completes the Survey
The Co-Auditor answers a short survey based on what they personally observed at the event, such as:
- Waste segregation and signage
- Use of digital vs printed materials
- Reduction of single-use plastics
- Sustainability messaging visibility
Optional photos may be uploaded to support responses.
3. Validation of Results
Co-Auditor responses help:
- Confirm reported sustainability practices
- Adjust scores where evidence is limited
- Strengthen the credibility of final results
This ensures the assessment reflects actual on-site practices, not just self-reported data.
4. Contribution & Certification
Co-Auditor feedback is integrated into the Sustainability Performance score.
Co-Auditors receive a Co-Auditor Certificate in recognition of their contribution.

How the QR Code Works
- Generate the QR Code. Click "Show QR Code" to generate a unique QR code linked to the Co-Auditor Survey.
- Invite Attendees to Participate. Display the QR code on-site and invite attendees to scan it and act as co-auditors.
- Scan & Submit Feedback. Attendees scan the QR code using their mobile device and answer a short survey based on what they observed (e.g., waste segregation, use of digital materials, reduction of single-use plastics).
- Validation & Integration. Attendee feedback helps confirm reported practices and strengthens the credibility of the final sustainability results.
Best Practices
- Display the QR code in visible areas during the event
- Encourage honest, observation-based responses
- Photo uploads are optional but help with validation
